The Verdict on Mount Olympus – Reviewing the Park & Ranking the Coasters
Airtime Thrills
So much for wearing masks.
That's a great review! I totally agree with your ranking!
I spent a few days here this weekend, and it was wonderful! I got 10 total rides on hades, six of them being back to back. Gotta take advantage of being a teenage adrenaline junkie while my bones can still handle it, lol!
Video "To Do" List

Overall rating: 10
AirtimeThrills you're the best.
I went last year and took the same seat you did on Hades on your last ride.
when he only talks good on the park bc he knows that the park will call him out if he talks trash just like they did to taylor. bahaha
Yay more Airtime. Thrilling.
….I'll leave now.
I used to go there every year, had a blast every time. Recently we've been going to indiana beach and cedar point, rotating. I think it would be nice to go to wisconsin again next year.
11:54 sign says 100th coaster being hades, not to bad
Is no one talking about how Logan, Jeff, and Sophia make cameos at different points in the video?
So. Many. Woodies.
My home park!!!
I'm glad you had a good time there. When I went two years ago, I found the ops painfully slow, the park was kinda dirty and poorly kept, and the whole thing just gave me a sketchy feel. I also thought Zeus was really rough, but they've retracked it since then, and it's clearly a big improvement. Then again, I didn't have to pay for it, so I can't really complain. There's a conference in the Dells most years in August, and if I go to that again, I'll probably try to swing by in the evening for a couple of hours.
They could go with a launched ride like a Eurofighter or a Skyrocket named after Hermes or an Infinity named after Ares. If they really want to focus on the vertical or beyond vertical drop, name the ride after Icarus.
Can’t beat the price!
It looks like wooden heaven
If you got a poop smell over by cyclops and pegasus, there are usually goats there
The Dells of the Wisconsin River are beautiful, but hooo boy is Wisconsin Dells the city a tourist trap. A fun one though, at least.
1. Blame Walker SCOTUS for the lack of physical distancing.
2. Agree that something should be done. Where I am at, the dells would have to wait until 2021 the earliest.
Haha why is that kid Logan and his girlfriend in this video
When was the last time you been here?
1:27 that fence is like three feet tall. Little timmy could jump right over that.
why dont you ever change around the coasters in your intro? that would Be cool
As someone from the UK it's so weird seeing a theme park and a water park in the same park. Alton towers has a water park but it's totally seperate to the theme park
Did you fly into Chicago? I'm trying to plan a trip there now (including Bay Beach)and that seems to be the cheapest place to fly in.
You're right about Mt. Olympus not having much competition when it comes to amusement parks. But when it comes to waterparks, this place has a lot of competition (and I do mean a lot).
I live 90 minutes south of Mt. Olympus. Not a park I visit too often, but it is a place I've always enjoyed. The waterpark is quite good, and goes back forever. The mat slides all the way in the back are stunningly fun. Go karts are decent as well. Really a good park. Just don't go there that often as Great America is closer.
I've read that Hades 360 requires a nearly full train to dispatch so that it doesn't valley during the double downs near the end …..
that ending on Pegasus looks super painful yikes
5:50 the people’s reactions were the absolute best
Almost at 40k
Looks unique… I want to go but again, it’s… unique.
Let's just pray that Kratos never finds this place.
Hour wait for Hades360
Hour wait for a salad
25 to park
Confusing hilly layout
My sister said the park is designed for fat people to lose weight
Oh and the reason they only run 1 train is because then they would have to maintain 2 trains… that’s a direct quote from the owner
You should do a list of what rides Mt. O should add
Is roller coaster station wheelchair accessible?
Hades is a true parking lot coaster.
Ahhh yes another good day Chris uploaded
This is a childhood park so i like it by default but this place was waayyyy better in early 2000s. Like anywhere between when Hades was built and 2011ish was probably when this park was at its peak (in my opinion)
Hey man I honestly just want to say thank you. Idk if you ever expected to get a comment of this nature considering the type of content you create, or already have, (not to my knowledge) but your videos have brought me much joy and have trudged me through a really rough patch in my life during this pandemic. I have nightmares of your intro from how often I watch your videos lol. I hope once everything truly settles down that we are able to cross paths and get to enjoy some great airtime thrills togther. Stay safe bro, take care and thank you again.
I went to Mt. Olympus in 2018 and we stayed on sight at the Odyssey Dells resort which was like your own condos with a kitchen area and bedroom. We entered the park through the Indoor Waterpark which was great in its own right. Mt. Olympus actually has three waterpark offerings: the main park you covered, the indoor waterpark I mentioned, and a third waterpark by the indoor amusement park reserved for resort guests only. We stayed for three days and had a lot of fun there. Also Hades 360 was a favorite with me and my siblings, as well!
"A tourist trap like (places I've never heard of)"
Do the go karts come with the admission price or does it cost extra?
No one is wearing masks and it's giving me anxiety.
Slowest go karts ever. They can barely make it up any mild incline.
1:07 LITTLE TREEEEEES
Very cool video. Thanks for posting and have a nice day too.
This is exactly the opposite of coaster studios' review.
I visited in 2006, when Hades was fairly new, Opa (the indoor wild mouse coaster) was brand new, and you could still take your go-kart through the Trojan horse. All these Mt. Olympus videos make me want to visit again! But I wish Wisconsin were taking covid more seriously. I did get a bit of the “odd” vibe that some of the other videos have mentioned. For example, there was a sign on Cyclops that said you had to be 18 to ride the back row! That might explain why we haven’t been back in so many years, even though we live only 4 hours away. Hades was awesome, though, and looks even more awesome with the inverted loop. I hope to make it back someday.
Hey Airtime Thrills, What Mt. Olympus really needs to me is a brand new coaster, Now i know that Hades 360 is still a awesome coaster but i think we need next maybe is a B&M Wing or a Gerstlauer clone from Fuji-Q Highland or American Dream's Nickelodeon Universe. But the most of them all is a owner who can own this park maybe Cedar Fair so it can put more rides or coasters in the property. Don't believe them check out Theme Park Predictions channel of what 10 Parks Cedar Fair Should Purchase!, Its in the link down below & i believe that park is in the list.

I completely agree with your review actually. I was pleasantly surprised with the park and Hades was an one of my favorite coasters ever. Watermark was decent, I'd like them to get an El Loco custom layout or Raptor
No masks, and no "social distancing"…. i say good.
I'm highly disappointed that you didn't mention how we got stuck on the back row of Hades in the station and that maintenance dude jumped over the track and scaled down the fence like Spider-Man to go fix whatever was wrong.
I think your positive experience has to do with the park just having been closed for months and cleaned during that time.
A few years back my brother got a staph infection that doctors think likely came from there and almost killed him. The last time I was at their indoor water park the bathroom was covered in poop and was not cleaned up in the 40min we were in the pool dispite us telling the life guards, the bar restaurants floor was crunchy to walk on because there was so much food on the floor and the room bathroom was covered with hair and mold. We had a two night reservation and after one night went to the desk and asked to early check out where they shrugged, acted like this happens very often and returned our money to us without even asking why we didn’t want to stay a second night.
I live in WI and most locals know to stay far away from this place.
I’m sorry but this park sucks
Pegasus back row is hilarious! It's a must try. I've never laughed harder on a brake run.
I don't care how good the Go Karts are, no park that doesn't require masks during a pandemic cannot be referred to as legit. But it looks like Hades slaps.
A week ago, I could hear the wheels spinning on the Hoosier Hurricane after it stopped. I was certain that it was going to fly off the track. Lol
I got there the same day haha no joke
I wouldn't expect any additional coasters, the owner is a cheapskate.
CHRIS WHY DO YOU HATE ELITCH GARDENS?
(Love your videos btw. Keep Up The Great Work and Stay Safe)
This is the park I broke my coaster fears on. Shit on Pegasus all you want that is the coaster I broke my coaster fears on it.
Because of that it is a park close to my heart.
11:19 “Literally anything” you say? What about an SLC running Volare trains or Green Lantern: First Flight but with standup cars or a Boomerang made by Togo
Nobody:
Back of Bobs head: oh hello camera
Does this park rank your top 25?
I live in irland so I'll probably never get here so this video was helpful
I can tell you right now, other then the coasters, this park is an absolute tourist trap. You were lucky on your trip, but I guess you did only go on the coasters. The theming is tacky and spotty, security and staffing is usually low with security sometimes being nonexistent, and the indoor theme park is absolutely unnecessary. Honestly, if your going to visit Wisconsin Dells, just go to a water park like Noah's Ark (the best waterpark there in my opinion) or Great Wolf Lodge. Also, this park has some pretty sketchy operations, especially with the lax measures and refusing to refund guests during these times.
(Also you probably know this, but the wildmouse was removed because it killed someone I believe)
This park is in the top six wooden coaster destinations of the world. In no particular order: 1: Holiday World; 2: Mount Olympus; 3: Six Flags Great America; 4: King's Island; 5: Dollywood; 6: Six Flags Great Adventure.
8:10 You're not able to ride Little Titans, even with a kid. This one has the Magic Flyer rules, only kids allowed. My experience at this park was excellent! I totally loved my day and a half here, and I hope to be back soon. One of my favorite parks ever. This is the kind of park that makes me realize that I like the feel of these parks more than the big chain parks.
Which coaster should be RMC'ed?
Ok, this park is not great even though I've been going for years the hotel is a leach and there are plenty of nice places in the dells but Hades be warned this ride can do damage. This park both dry and wet can do damage so if you come here be warned
Wow, Coaster Studios gave a complete opposite review. He said it was one of the worst parks in the Country lol
They clean the trains but absolutely no one is wearing a mask. Cool haha
I’m really lucky that my aunt and uncle live less than an hour from the dells. But for some reason I’ve only been zip lining in the dells.
Went here in 2014… One of the worst days I've ever had at a park. Staff not understanding English, food options out of food, worst operations ever, Hades was the roughest ride ever, amenities being out of everything, terrible policies, half the rides being closed… And the park didn't even look good. Apparently stuff got better and Hades is good now but when I rode it it was beyond awful.
This park looks so weird but with some good rides
I think three and 300 or not necessarily you’re lucky numbers but just numbers you come across three was three carts from the front in this video and three cars from the back in this video you’re home park has a 300 foot roller coaster that cheats it the coaster you always look forward to during the 2000 was millennium force a 300 foot tall roller coaster you call intimidator the second most intense ride you’ve ever been on in that is 300 feet tall
I don’t know about this but you have written all the giggles in the US and you have a habit of being either three from the front or three from the back on any video
airtime thrills lagoon has been open for 2 months make a reservation on there website if you want to go
Looks like a cool casual park, but dang bruhhh. That's really cool they wipe down the ride after each ride (SFOG only wipes down the ride every hour but has hand-sanitizer). But while wiping down the coaster is great it's pretty pointless if masks aren't required… since it's an air virus too based off of the CDC and other real-life examples and studies like the church choir that infected everyone on an unusually high rate. That being said it's cool to see that it is possible for parks to wash every ride every cycle. And I'm kinda surprised you rated you this park well, I assumed it would be a "low-tier" park due to just woodens or not really having much coaster-wise. Thanks for the video upload today!
Edit: Just watched the end of the video, what do you think about parks implementing or not implementing covid-19 measures? Or did you do a video on that already? I didn't see it if you did so I'll probably just go and watch that if I can find one or you did.
RMC
I live 10 minutes from here, and I call six flags great America my homepark, which is more than 2 hours away. That's my opinion of this park
did they remove a car on Cyclops?…..when I rode it awhile back it was intense in the back row
My first visit was as a kid to the Treasure Island indoor waterpark, before Mt Olympus owned it. It was awesome on its own. Later, when it was a "megapark" I got to go back. I don't think you can talk about this park without talking about the waterparks. Based on your video, I'm not sure you even saw the entire waterpark. It wraps around past the picnic area. They have mini golf, bumper boats and some great bodyslides. It's huge.
i love that place !
5:43 omg are they okay
Why do I have a feeling that the Chance Rides Toboggan Roller Coaster at Little Americk’s was Closed.
Did you have to stay at their hotel to visit the park and if you didn't how much was admission?
Their website is not so great at answering those questions.
Mt olympus only owns one train for each coaster
0:23 if that's the white house… well that's dark.
edit: 1:51 oh nice to see that you were with logan from Koaster kids unless that's, not your footage
That wave pool reminds me of going to Water World as a kid. The wave pool there used to have a single 10 foot wave every 10 minutes. One time when I was 8 or so I decided to swim all the way to the deep end and wait for the wave. I wasn't a great swimmer and I was surrounded by people in inner tubes; So when the wave came I was pushed under an endless expanse of inner tubes. I had to push my way through them and it was terrifying. They changed the wave engine to make lots of 5 foot waves instead when they replaced it but I miss those big waves. The admission is cheap with a coupon and it's fairly unique so it's worth visiting if you're ever in Colorado during the Summer.
Covid preventative measures should include masks. Get a hold of yourself, Wisconsin.
10:02
"Everyone seemed to be having a good time!"
Cuts to roller coaster riders snapping their necks
for Cyclops, you missed out on the ACTUAL back seat. When it used to have the extra car, the airtime was so extreme there actually was a rule requiring you be 18+ to brave it, and YES. Cyclops ACTUAL backseat is one of my favorite wooden coasters to this day for how legendAIRy the ejector was….
ITS SO FUNNY WATCHING THE VIOLENT TURN on Pegasus I was dying when I went
The last time I was here was when Zeus just opened. There wasn't a water park yet…no hotels…I heard the owner bought all the surrounding hotels. So if that's true, they probably had different looks and names. You went to noahs ark for the water park and mount Olympus for the coasters and go karts
5:49 God that looks awful
Sorry for the Zeua pre-hype bro
HUGE omission though. You are REQUIRED to stay there in order to get in. We're staying nearby and can't go. Park looks empty from the outside so we're disappointed.
My idea for a video: Events that changes the roller coasters edition: 2019
Next mini doc you should do is Kentucky kingdom’s rise and fall and rise again
